This book is J's favourite book. Without fail, he has to "read" this everyday. This was also one of the early books I started reading to him when he was still in my womb, so I'm thinking he probably finds it familiar. Here are some sample pages of the book:

Title: ABC and counting
Author: Desmond Marwood
No. of pages: 62
Synopsis: As the cover page already suggest, the book talks about the letters of the Alphabet and learning about numbers through the use of animals. Each letter is accompanied by a short story relating to an animal. The section on numbers is a continuous story about a dog who lost his sheep and he was tasked by the farmer to find them back. Through his journey to finding the sheep, he met many different animals on the farm from whom he asked if they had seen his sheep. Did he managed to find his sheep in the end? Read on to the end of the book to find out...
My review: I personally like this book a lot because of its colourful pictures and lots of different things for me to talk to J about. It also introduces some facts about animals that I didn't even know previously. It's interesting also to know that some stories have nursery songs that are related to them. The pictures are fairly large, hence it catches J's attention a lot.
Recommendation: 9/10
