Slow Cooker Porridge with Fish & Vegetables ~ 1 serving; 220g




Ingredients:

1 tbsp rice (washed)

1 cup boiling water

40g broccoli (vary the vegetables according to your baby’s needs)

20g pumpkin/carrot

1 tbsp sweet corn (blended finely)

50g threadfin (any fish fillets or meats will do too!)


Method:

1.Heat up the slow cooker for about 5 min before putting the pot with rice and water to cook.

2.Add broccoli & sweet corn to the rice. Leave it to cook for 1-2 hours.

3.Boil water in a separate pot on high fire. Then, lower to medium fire  and steam threadfin for 8 min. Check for bones before adding into the porridge. 



Note:

*This recipe is very versatile and you can add in almost anything you want. If you are using meat, blend it until fine before serving.

* If you intend to serve it for both lunch and dinner, just simply double the portion! J
